Where in North Wales can you do zip-wiring?
In Snowdonia, there is a lot of natural beauty but there is also, quite literally, a hidden beauty- The Slate Caverns. This landmark location of Wales has a history spanning over 500 million years and now you can take a guided tour around here. On the guide, you will be led 500 feet below the ground on Europe’s steepest cable railway into the Llechwedd Deep Mine. During your journey through these caverns – all hand-carved across the centuries – you’ll find out some of the individual stories of the miners, as well as your guide’s personal knowledge before ending up and the stunning underground lake.
