Zip-wiring in North Wales

This ultimate zip line is something that has to be on your bucket list but is also something that you have to knock off now. You’ll fly at 70 miles per hour over two zip lines while set in the gorgeous Welsh countryside. The whole experience lasts 90 minutes but 45 minutes of it is the tour of the landscape. The zip wire itself is 1080 metres which will quite literally fly by because you will literally be flying. You’ll be taken up in an ex-army truck and learn about the cool history and all the caverns before flying down. Anyone over the age of 7 can do this activity and no matter your age it costs £60 per person but it will be perfect fun for the whole family!

At Zip World, in Llechwedd you can take on the Titan 2 Zipline and fly for over 1000 metres.

In Snowdonia, there is a lot of natural beauty but there is also, quite literally, a hidden beauty- The Slate Caverns. This landmark location of Wales has a history spanning over 500 million years and now you can take a guided tour around here. On the guide, you will be led 500 feet below the ground on Europe’s steepest cable railway into the Llechwedd Deep Mine. During your journey through these caverns – all hand-carved across the centuries – you’ll find out some of the individual stories of the miners, as well as your guide’s personal knowledge before ending up and the stunning underground lake.

  • The minimum age requirement of 7 years old and children under 17 must be accompanied by an adult
  • The minimum weight of 25KG and maximum weight of 120KG
  • The minimum height of 1.2m and a maximum height of 2m
