They also have 5 activity playgrounds for the kids and some places to get food and drink if you forgot to bring some!

Where is Marwell Zoo?

The Zoo is located on the west of the South Downs National Park. It is about a 20 minute drive from Winchester and little bit further from Southampton. On Sundays and Bank Holidays there is even a bus directly from Winchester to the zoo!

The Zoo is home to a very wide range of animals such as tigers, zebras and even red pandas. You will get to visit the reptiles areas where you will see creatures such as snakes, tortoises and lizards! As you walk around the park you will be taken aback by the amazing animals, such as the enormous giraffes, which you can go and meet and get a chance to feed in their enclosures. Marwell Zoo also has an aquarium which is home to all their sea creatures, the tropical house where there is a wide range of plant life and the wildlife that live amongst it. If you are an animal lover or just want to se the cute creatures then Marwell Zoo is a must to visit if you’re in the area!
