Sir Peter Jackson’s collection of WW1 aircraft and artefacts. Captivating scenes depict the aircraft in context, sometimes recreating an incident that actually happened in the war. Rare memorabilia is on display, worthy of any national collection and ranges from beautifully crafted ‘trench art’ through to personal items belonging to the famous Red Baron himself.
Dangerous Skies has reopened with some exciting new displays. The WW2 Exhibition features a range of warbirds, including a flyable Griffon powered Mk.XIVe Spitfire, Yak-3, FW-190 Focke Wulf and a 44.4ft Lockheed Hudson crashed in the depths of a Pacific island jungle!
Open 7 days: 9am – 5pm.
