Bouldering in Middlesbrough

Rock Antics has two separate indoor climbing walls. One in Newton Aycliffe and one in Middlesbrough. They run regular kids’ groups, plus you can book a group session for you and the kids! Booking is essential as walk-ins may lead to disappointment.

Why should I go to Rock Antics?

Rock Antics has a variety of courses and skills classes available for adults and children that you can earn grades in, which are suitable for both beginners and more adept boulderers.

Rock Antics has two large bouldering sections and 13 roped walls at Rock Antics to provide lots of variety. They also have Junior groups for ages 6 and up that operate throughout the week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. These are all 1.5 hours long and only £7.50 apiece. It is necessary to make a reservation since the spots are limited.

Adults can also enrol in a variety of courses, which can be found on the courses part of the website. Each activity can take 6 people at once. Which is perfect for a family!

They keep safety to a maximum by tailoring the sessions to suit the ability and needs of the group. We ensure that we take you on climbs that you can do while encouraging you up climbs that you find challenging.
