How do I start prepping for an Iceland adventure?

At Iceland travel Adventures your trip will be customised to your needs and organised, so you have a great experience.

If you need help with flights this is the place to visit. You will find out about regular flights from all over the world and from many destinations. There are also ferries that are between Denmark and Iceland for those who don’t want to fly. This is a great experience for exploring the local areas as well.

You will be provided information about the 160 cruise ships that visit Iceland every year which offers multiple entertainment options such as spas, cinemas, bars and much more.

The official language is Icelandic, but English is widely spoken and understood. The guide tours and activities are also held in English as it the language for tourism and a basic requirement for guests for safety reasons.

You will be able to find help planning your budget and it is good to know that Iceland is the most expensive country in Europe. The currency is (ISK) you can exchange cash at the airport and banks. It is also important that you have ISK coins for certain activities.

There are three main telecom service providers in Iceland Siminn, Vodafone and Nova which have been tested locally and internationally and can be trusted. Be aware that networks are very poor in the Highlands and remote fjords.

You will learn about amazing and tasty food that you can enjoy; the clean air and chemical free plants provide the highest quality and healthiest food.
