Kitesurfing uses the power of the wind to drive a rider across the water on a kiteboard (similar to a wakeboard). There are a number of different styles of kitesurfing including freeride, freestyle, wake style, course racing and wave-riding. Hooked kite surfing offers kite surf lessons for all ages and abilities in a safe and fun environment you will get a real insight into the sport of kite surfing!

Where can I get kite surfing lessons in Wexford?

Located on Duncannon Beach, Hooked Kite surfing has been offering lessons since 2009 for complete beginners and now kiters looking to learn hydro foiling.

Duncannon Beach is well known as one of the best beaches in Ireland to learn kitesurfing year round, Never kite surfed before no need to fear, Lessons with a fully insured qualified instructor are essential before taking up kite surfing. Enjoy your progress and learning curve under the watchful eye of one of our instructors and learn all about how to fly and ride safely.
