Can you visit the Hobbit houses in New Zealand?

On the Hobbiton movie set tours, you'll be able to see the Hobbit houses and more! Stroll around the shire and relive the magic of the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit trilogies.

In 1998, Sir Peter Jackson and his scouting team discovered Alexander Sheep farm in the heart of Waikato – this 12 acre plot is now transformed into Hobbiton, home to the iconic rolling green hills that we all know and love.
