Stay in an Arctic Hotel in Iceland

The unique location of Glacier World makes your stay at the hotel as much of an attraction as the activities you might partake in during your stay! Glacier World describe it as “where nature nourishes the mind” and you can see why! You’ll find yourself completely surrounded by spectacular natural displays from a huge flat open space and steep mountains, to an ice-cold glacier and applied geothermal heat. But it’s not just about the beautiful scenery, they offer accommodation in a charming, old renovated, farmhouse.

Are the hot tubs open for the public?

Yes, of course! There are five amazing geothermal hot tubs available for use. For guests that are staying in the accommodation, these can be used free of charge! For members of the public, the price is 1000 ISK per person.

The house is only 3 kilometres from Hoffellsjökull (Hoffells glacier), which is a part of Vatnajökull; one of the most popular tourist attractions in the country. From there, there are countless exciting walkways where everybody should be able to find something suitable for themselves. All rooms at the hotel come with their own private bathrooms. From the rooms you are guaranteed to get either fantastic views of the glacier or beautiful mountain views. Every room also comes fully equipped with WiFi. Perhaps most exciting are the five geothermal hot tubs on site, which guests at the hotel can use free of charge!
