When the festival was first conceived in the late 1960s, the original concept was a celebration of musical counterculture, but the award-winning Isle of Wight Festival has evolved even more! It’s been a temporary home to many hugely popular musicians, such as The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Amy Winehouse, The Strokes, Fleetwood Mac, and many many more! It aims to strike a balance between a lineup of famous musical legends and blossoming indie bands looking to make a name for themselves, so there’s bound to be something for everyone! There’s also a large selection of theme park rides, and tasty food/refreshments, so you’ll never get bored. This attraction is not to be missed, so book your day out/weekend away now!
