Workshop for Silversmiths
Each participant will learn traditional jewelry-making skills such as piercing, soldering, shaping, texturing, and polishing from goldsmith Diane Lyness in order to produce a lovely set of rings to take home. There is no prior experience necessary. All you need to bring is an apron and lots of energy!
The fee of £50 per participant includes all materials needed to make a pair of earrings or a necklace pendant. A necklace chain will cost an extra £3.50.
Flowerfield Writers
This entertaining and exciting seminar, led by Anne McMaster, will walk authors of all genres through the process of drafting, revising, polishing, and performing new material.
Writers will create fresh material using a series of creative writing prompts, complete editing via tutor input and online group conversations, and perfect each piece of writing before having an online reading on the last evening of the course.
Picnic on their outdoor piazza, visit our exhibitions that run all year, and revel in the therapeutic magic of the numerous creative classes we provide for children and adults.
They have specialised craft studios in ceramics and glass, as well as a FabLab, as well as a performance area, several workshops, and a media suite. Free Wi-Fi, a children’s reading area, and refreshments accessible in their welcome area.
