Glass Art Workshop in Dumbarton

Ever wanted to branch out and expand your creative skillset? How about glass fusing? Near Glasgow, Cass Peters is running weekend, half-day workshops designed for introducing the craft of glass fusing to beginners. First, let your creativity loose and create a design, or simply choose from a pre-selection, cut the glass and build up your design! All of these steps take place under the tutelage of Cass, who loves creating a warm and laid back environment to help you learn this new skill!

Where can I try glass fusing workshops in Scotland?

Just fifteen minutes away from Glasgow, Cass' studio warmly welcomes all who want to try out something new!

As you learn and develop your new skill, you might feel a bit peckish. For the lunch break, you can bring your own lunch or arrange a lunch service for an extra fee. Additionally, your design will need to go through an overnight process to finalise, so you do need to come back and get your creation. But don’t worry, you can get it by post too! Now you can show off your new unique and self-made coasters or fused glass wave to all your friends and family.

  • Classes are on the weekends
  • The workshop is 3 hours long – 10 am to 1 pm
  • Ticket price – £90 (book online)
  • Can reschedule ticket – must do it at least 2 weeks in advance
  • All equipment and materials are included in the price
  • Wear closed shoes and bring your own lunch
  • Lunch service can be arranged for a small extra cost
  • Collect design the next day; a postage option is also available (must pay the postage)
