You’ll meet your guide in Edinburgh before heading off to the almost mythical Rosslyn Chapel, where you can explore some of its incredible history and then start your epic cycling journey. You’ll explore old kirk’s and historical sites as you roll through gorgeous farmland to the town of Peebles. On the second day you’ll spin out in a loop from Peebles and explore the local landscape, taking in the history of Traquair House and the stunning Tweed Valley. Day three heads out from Peebles towards the historic Melrose Abbey, along the way taking in information about famous writer Sir Walter Scott and finally resting up in Melrose. The fourth day features a jaunt across the border and down into the historically contested town of Berwick before arriving at your accommodation in a lovely English Inn. Days five and six are possibly the most scenic! Starting off in Berwick before heading out to the coast, through lovely small villages and then along to North Berwick, where you’ll then take a boat tour out to Bass Rock, a huge lump of coastal volcanic rock that is home to a rare bird colony. On the final day you’ll visit Tantallon Castle before transferring back to Edinburgh.
