Where can I find a heritage steam or diesel train ride in Kent?

Spa Valley Railway runs trains from Tunbridge Wells station, High Rocks station and Eridge station.

Run entirely by volunteers, the original members of the Tunbridge Wells and Eridge Railway Preservation Society (or TWERPS – an unfortunate acronym that earned them quite a bit of teasing) have fought to restore this historic line since its closure in the 1990s. You can learn all about their battle to open the railway back up again on their website, and enjoy your experience all the more for knowing just how far they’ve come! The Spa Valley railway line runs through a beautiful part of Kent, boasting gorgeous views you won’t soon forget.
