Visit Bibleworld Museum & Discovery Centre in Rotorua

Bibleworld is a great place for adults and children to explore what life was like in Biblical times. Bibleworld has a range of detailed scale models, ancient artifacts from Bible times and a variety of ‘hands on’ activities. See over 70 real artifacts from Biblical times. Try out interactive quizzes and activities: smell fragrances including frankincense and myrrh, try on a replica Roman helmet, play a replica ten stringed lyre and blow a real ram’s horn shofar.

The museum now has ten scale models, two interactive maps, a life-size diorama, about 72 ancient artefacts, heaps of replicas, and a range of hands on activities. And they are constantly adding and developing. See a village house from the time of Jesus, a tomb with rolling stone entrance, the Jerusalem temple at the time of Jesus and an Old Testament city under siege; the Tabernacle.
