Visit the Iron Ridge Quarry Sculpture Park in Canterbury

Iron Ridge Quarry Sculpture Park is nestled against the dramatic landscape of the Waipara Valley wine region, an easy 50 minute drive north of Christchurch City. Raymond purchased the abandoned lime works in 1997, and since then the Quarry has been transformed into a magical wonderland, with Raymond’s graceful, strong sculptures set against a carefully curated native garden, all under the shadow of breathtaking limestone hills.

How much is admission to the sculpture park?

For adults, admission to the Iron Ridge Quarry Sculpture Park is $16. For children under 16 years old, admission is absolutely free!

Raymond Herber lives and works on-site, and for larger groups will host a complimentary forging demonstration on request. The sculpture park is great for all ages with the large gallery space available for you to take in the views and to bring your lunch, morning, or afternoon tea. Complimentary tea and coffee provided.
