Elgin kart raceway is home to an outdoor go karting track, there is also many more outdoor activities they offer, so you really can have the perfect day out with lots to do. With a 500 metre long track it is sure to get your adrenaline going, you can book the simple go karting experience getting the opportunity to fly round the 500 metre track at your own pace or you and your friends can book the mini grand prix and take each other on in this race like scenario, you will compete in 2 heats to determine final placing before the green lights show for the big one, each final race will last 20 minutes followed by a cool down lap. The mini grand prix is available to groups of 8 or more and is perfect for birthday parties or stag and hen do’s.

 

Where can i find the track?

The track is located in Lhanbryde, it is estimated at a ten minute drive from the heart of Elgin, if you are using a public bus it will be a 20 minute journey from Elgin bus station, you can get the number 10,35 and 38 so there is no shortage in buses available.

  • Straight lines are the shortest route to victory
  • Never tap the brakes on turning
  • Find a comfortable sitting position
  • Wear comfortable clothing
  • Be brave on the pedals

 

Other things that Elgin kart raceway offer are laser tag, clay shooting and mini tank driving. The mini tank driving is a really special experience as they are super cool and very easy to drive. The price of the mini tank session is 15 pounds for 15 miutes of driving time. Laser tag is a perfect chance for taking each other on in this capture the flag game mode, for this you will need a minimum of 6 participants for the game to run smoothly. The cost of this is 20 pound per person and this will include a safety briefing and 90 minutes worth of playing time.
