Owned by the Talbot family for almost 800 years and is one of the longest owned castles in the world! It is located in North County Dublin on 250 acres of stunning parkland.

How do I get to Malahide Castle from the city centre?

Visitors can access the castle via Dublin's DART network, by catching the train at Tara Street towards Malahide.

The castle is also home to one of four Botanical Gardens in Ireland, with some of the finest examples of plants in the country, with a fantastic selection of South American plants. Visitors can access guided tours of the castle and its surrounding gardens, with detailed tours of the rooms within the house. Visitors can also venture into the castles visitor centre, and this is where you can further your knowledge of the history of the castle and its famous gardens. So, what are you waiting for?
