Wild Flowers at Glenarn Gardens

Spend a day taking in the beautiful gardens at Glenarn by Helensburgh, with its world-famous selection of exotic flowers. None more famous than its magnificent selection of Rhododendrons!  Although a private garden, its sleepy glen, and lengthy nature contribute to its Himalayan atmosphere. This garden provides detailed guided tours with groups, visitors also have the option to buy plants from the garden.

How do I find Glenarn Gardens?

The gardens are located an hour's drive from Glasgow on the M8 and close to the town of Helensburgh which has regular bus and rail links.

The garden opens from March to September each year and regular flowerings of these exotic flowers provide some of the most beautiful scenery in Scotland. Complementing this is a large rock garden built on the gardens of an old quarry providing an opportunity for plants like meconopsis and primulas to flourish.
