Are you a lover of Hiking or just partial to a fantastic scenic view? Well then, look no further than the Bracklinn Falls and Callander Crags hiking trail! This walk is Mid-level, which means, it can be carried out by seasoned hikers and beginners alike. The route follows through woodland towards the Bracklinn Bridge, showcasing the beautiful waterfall and gorges below it. This path is around 5.3km in length, and is well compacted and gravelled, with only some loose spots.

How do I get to Bracklinn Falls from Glasgow?

If travelling from Glasgow, take the M80 via Stirling, and then the M84 towards Callander. If travelling via public transport, there are regular bus routes from the town.

The Bracklinn Falls are one of the most beautiful of its kind across Scotland, which had, at one point, been visited by Queen Victoria! Of course, it also featured in the famous 1975 movie, “Monty Python and the Holy Grail”. Although it can be treacherous, the waterfalls are best viewed from vantage points, on a rainy day. The falls themselves have located just a short walk along the trail, from the car park. So what are you waiting for? Make the most of your day off and come and visit the famous Bracklinn Falls!
