Catch a show at Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall

Calling all music and art lovers! Have you ever wanted to experience the best events that Glasgow has to offer? All while being nestled directly in the City centre between Buchanan Street and Sauchiehall Street. This beautiful building has regular shows, and plays host to the World Irish Dancing Championships and the Folk Festival “Celtic Connections”, every year! As if this wasn’t enough, the hall is also the home of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra.

Where is the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall?

The building is located at the top of Buchanan Street, facing downwards upon the shopping district, and is serviced by high rise steps. The other entrance is directly facing Buchannan Street bus station.

This fascinating structure is a magnificent sight within its own right, with the Auditorium being its main attraction, seating almost 2,500 people. Along with this, they also have exclusive suites available, including the 300 seat Strathclyde Suite, and 120 seat Buchanan Suite. Visitors can also explore the buildings fantastic Exhibition space while wandering through the gift shop. The Royal Concert Hall opens from Monday to Saturday, from 10am to 6pm, and on Sundays open from 5pm to 9pm. Admission prices range, depending on the show chosen, however, there are a vast amount of shows throughout the year, all of the different genres to suit everyone. So what are you waiting for?
