Where can I find Hollard Gardens?

Hollard Gardens can be located 5 minutes North of the town of Kaponga via the Manaia Road.

Hollard Gardens are both informal and intimate, with a massive variety of native and exotic plants, including many rare and endangered ones! All year round the gardens can be heard buzzing with the sound of insects and birds feeding on the diversity of the flowers, fruits and seeds. In the springtime, the colours of the swamp are a must-see, and later in the year make sure to check out the deciduous trees that go through a bright display of colour changing!

As well as the garden itself, Hollard Gardens also features Bernie’s Home Garden and The Hollard Centre. Bernie’s Home Garden is an area where different methods of growing food can be explored and is a popular place for public workshops. It also has chickens, beehives, compost and worm farms, and a food forest! The Holland Centre on the other hand contains a gardening library for guests to explore as well as various seasonal exhibitions and displays that are frequently hosted in the centre.
