The UK is home to some of the best aquariums worldwide, offering views of sea life from all over the world. But have you ever wanted to go local and see what the oceans closer to home are hiding? Then we have the perfect day out to add to your stack – visit Anglesey Sea Zoo, a fantastic opportunity to discover some of the fascinating sea life that swims around our coasts.

What can I do in Anglesey?

Head down to Anglesey Sea Zoo on the south coast to see the marine life of the British oceans.

Anglesey Sea Zoo is packed with over 100 different species of sea life! From Octopus to Eel, seahorses to jellyfish, go and say hello to our fishy friends in nine different marine zones and 40 different tanks. Marvel at the mesmerising moon jellyfish in the no-bone zone, or head to the big fish forest to see the massive, alien-like thornback rays.

There’s plenty to keep the kids entertained, with a giant bouncy castle and play area, while mum and dad enjoy stunning shoreline views of Snowdonia with a picnic. Cap off your visit with coffee and cake at the Rockpool cafe and something to commemorate your visit with handmade souvenirs and sweets from their gift shop.
