If you see yourself as a bit of a chocolatier and want to try to make your very own mix of flavours then this is perfect for you! Based in a city with a rich chocolate history there is no better place to try your hand at chocolate making. In this workshop, you will do a lot of learning as well as making. You’ll learn about cocoa and where it comes from and how they use it to make their delicious chocolate.

Where can I make chocolate in York?

The York Cocoa House is a brilliant local business with lots of fun activities and great handmade chocolate and cakes. This course runs every weekend and lets you get hands-on to make your very own chocolate bar!

That’s then followed by a tasting of white, milk, and dark chocolate so you can choose which type you want to use in your very own bar! You then work the chocolate and then finally flavour and decorate it. It’s beautifully wrapped and ready for you to take and enjoy at home. The whole experience is fun, educational, and has the added benefit of you getting your hand-crafted chocolate bar at the end!
