Farmer Ted’s Adventure Park in Lancashire

Fancy heading away from the noise of the city for a day? Head on down to Farmer Ted’s Adventure Farm and get ready for some family fun!

Why go to Farmer Ted's Adventure Farm?

Enjoy a fantastic day out full of engaging indoor play, outdoor play, and interesting wildlife!

Found on the outskirts of Liverpool, Farmer Ted’s offers a great selection of both indoor and outdoor activities, so you can make the most of your visit whatever the weather. Why not try exploring the puzzling Adventure Maze, or let the kids burn some extra energy on Farmer Ted’s outdoor climbing frames, pedal tractors, and swings? For all you animal lovers out there, there’s a Petting Zoo and a Mini Beasts Centre with a range of animals and critters to see! Bearded dragons, llamas, tree frogs, guinea pigs, there’s something for everyone!

You can also take your kids to meet the iconic Shaun the Sheep! Little ones can immerse themselves in the world of Shaun the Sheep, the only park of its kind in the UK, with a plethora of things to do. Get lost in the mammoth maze, meet Shaun and Bitzer the dog, wake up Shaun’s sleepy friends at Bitzer’s kinetic clubhouse, and loads of other fun themed activities.

Shaun the Sheep - did you know?

  • During the production of the Shaun the Sheep movie, an average of 2 seconds was made every day. There was a crew of 17 animators, but if there was only 1, it would have taken 9 years to complete!
  • Shaun the Sheep first appeared in the Wallace and Gromit short film, A Close Shave, 20 years ago before he got his own show 12 years later.
  • During all the episodes and the two movies, the only word of spoken dialogue has been “What?”. Get ready for a lot of “baaahs”!
  • It can take up to 45 minutes to re-flock a single sheep puppet!

Food and drink are available from the Farmer Ted’s Grill, both to sit in and to takeaway. There’s also an ice cream van on site for hotter days, as well as dedicated picnic tables to use if you’ve brought a packed lunch!
