Visit Britain’s first-ever purpose-built public observatory and watch the stars and planets through their telescopes. Admire the beautiful scenery from the top of Balgay Hill! The woodland setting and incredible views of the Tay gives the observatory a very picturesque atmosphere. Learn about the night sky in the planetarium shows or view the incredible space exploration and astronomical displays. You can even attend a planetarium show for just £1 for adults and 50p for children! The Observatory itself is completely free, making this an inexpensive, yet very enjoyable trip for people of all ages. Shows are run every second Friday at 7pm, 8pm and 9pm.
