Are you a lover of nature and long walks in the countryside? Then you should go and visit the Grey mare’s tail nature reserve. The trail is 3 miles long from the car park and will take you through the wonderful Scottish countryside so don’t forget to pack your camera.

If you are looking to admire Scotland's extraordinary wildlife and breathtaking scenery then you will love this nature walk!

While you embark on your walk through the countryside you will have a chance to see the wildlife that lives in the area. The trail is home to a variety of birds that you might spot such as the Red Grouse, Buzzards and the Peregrine falcon. It is also likely that you will spot goats along the walk. Once you have reached the end of Grey mare’s trail lies one of Scotland’s most beloved waterfalls as it is a big attraction. The waterfall runs down from the valleys and falls into a pool at the bottom, it is common for people to take the plunge and jump down this 60-meter waterfall!
