Glasgow Tigers Speedway

For Speedway Lovers! Are you a follower of this sport and/or want to experience it up close? Then make sure to visit the Glasgow Tigers Speedway track when visiting the city! The team compete in the Speedway Championships UK and race on Fridays at 7.30 pm, from March to October each year. This intense sport involves Motorbikes with no breaks speeding around an oval dirt track circuit, reaching speeds of up to 70mph!

Where can I find The Glasgow Tigers Speedway?

The Speedway is located in the Springburn area of Glasgow, this area is accessed by rail and bus links. The closest train station is Ashfield which can be located from Glasgow City Centre.

The Speedway track here in Glasgow is considered to be one of the finest examples of a Speedway facility in the whole country. Visitors can take a trip to the many facilities throughout the track, including a bar, cafe and fantastic viewing points. Since its foundation back in 1946, the Glasgow Tigers have produced Hall of Fame riders, including Shane Parker and Jim McMillan. The Speedway is a perfect day out for families as the facility caters to children, with their Mascot “Roary” providing the entertainment. So what are you waiting for?
